Walk for Mental Health Awareness-Houston

I’m excited to announce my favorite fundraising event of the year! The 9th Annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness – Houston 5K Walk & Mental Health EXPO is all about Changing Minds, Changing Lives in how everyone approaches Mental Illness/Neuropsychiatric Illness. On Saturday, October 12, 2019 we will gather at Stude Park and we invite you to join us for a fun morning to raise funds and awareness for Greater Houston area mental health nonprofit agencies and programs. Join the conversation. Take action. Make a difference. It affects all of us. The link to join our team is at the bottom. If you cannot make it out physically to express your support, we ask that you make a contribution of support by either sponsoring one of our walkers or donating in general to our team! I express my sincerest gratitude for your consideration and support of an organization that I have worked really hard to maintain as well as improve in order to continue to fulfill our mission and hoping be able to assist more people. Without individual donors, we absolutely would not be able to exist, as we have not received any government or large private grants to date. That being said, we have almost been going strong for 4 years now, and that makes my heart happy to know that there are people out there who believe in NAMHSAR and what we stand for and do! Thank you again, and I hope to see you out there!
