Description
We are now offering computer skills courses that will assist in boosting your rèsumè. We know that it may sometimes be difficult for those recovering and/or dealing with a mental health or substance abuse disorders, as well as those that are attempting to integrate back into society after completing a criminal justice sentence. Our aim is to provide you with skills that will make it easier to find a decent paying career and promote more wellbeing in your quality of life. Courses will be offered on Saturdays from 10-11:30AM at the Baldwin Boettcher Library at 22248 Aldine Westfield Humble, TX 77338 and will begin Marxh The courses and fees are structured as followed:
1. Computer Basics- For those who have 0 to very little computer experience with computers. $50
- How to operate
- Internet access usage
- social media
- basic computer maintenance
- computer types/differences advantages/disadvantages
2. Logical Thinking- For those with experience and desire in becoming developers. $150
- Data Structure
- Structure Thinking
- Algorithims
3. Office-For those interested in getting administrative position. $50
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
4. PHP/ASP $150
- Apps for mobile devices
- Principles of interaction design
- Databases
