Some of these activities are in collaboration with other organizations throughout the entire Greater Houston Area and depending on the day, time, and event, they may be at different location than the same activity that’s offered at the other. Complete the contact form below and we will get back to you with the schedule and locations of the activity you’re interested in participating in. A NAMHSAR representative will be present at the event you choose. You will be asked to complete evaluations before and after the sessions. If there are others there in a group or individually from NAMHSAR, a short group therapy session will be conducted. Experiential therapy is designed to work on symptom reduction and positive coping skills for a wide range of psychological disorders and is intended to be used in conjunction with traditional psychotherapy and/or prescription psychotropic medications. To maximize this opportunity to improve yourself throughout this journey of life, it is recommended that after the appointment is made for the type of Experiental Therapy you wish to participate in, you should schedule a traditional counseling session with NAMHSAR, which are available via phone sessions, office visits, and TeleMental health.
