When we do things that are aligned with our values, it tends to make us feel good about ourselves. Some of our values stem from childhood and others come along as we come to know Earth better. In many cases many values are derived from religious and/or spiritual beliefs, however experiences of life make up the other half.
Transpersonal psychology aims to assist in identifying activities to partake in that directly align with their values. We monitor their mood, difficulty of completion level, duration, and completion.
Biweekly we access the results and modify the treatment plan if needed. Trans means across, so we are ultimately aiming for a goal that minimize symptoms the patient may be experiencing across the board.
